I am writing to let you know how delighted I am with the Hydrosmart system which you installed for me.

I have a small wholesale plant nursery near Woodside in the Adelaide Hills.

In mid year I realised there was something awfully wrong with the plants. There was a crusty salty film on the leaves and nothing was growing well. In fact the plants were sulking, if not indeed dying. I presumed it was caused by the salts in the bore water plus the lack of rain.

A soil test of the pots showed an alkalinity level way off the end of the scale. This made no sense as the premium potting mix was perfectly neutral.

A water test by SA Water at Bolivar immediately followed. This gave a breakdown of all the minerals present in the water and their concentrations.

Over a few beers in the pub, my business partner heard about your Hydrosmart.

I had a unit installed on 16 August. 2002. It needed a double set of antennae due to the high concentration of magnesium silicate and calcium in my bore water.

Three months later I did a soil test in the nursery which showed a reading of 6 - a happy neutral soil! The nursery and display gardens at the house look superb and everything is green and growing again. And, as we hardly had any winter rains one can put it all down to this marvellous Hydrosmart system of yours.

If I had not invested the money in Hydrosmart, I would not have a business.
