In looking to supply water treatment for our new centralised drycleaning facility - Karl Chehade Dry Cleaning, we investigated all existing methods from Reverse Osmosis to water softeners and water conditioners.
We wanted to effectively condition and treat the water used throughout for our new state of the art dry cleaning factory in Adelaide's Eastern Suburbs. As our factory is using new and exclusive washing and dry cleaning processes, we also chose to install Hydrosmart's water treatment approach in preference to all other methods.
As we had installed many new pieces of equipment in the premises we needed to protect it from scale and hardness as well as corrosion issues that can happen when using Adelaide's hard and mildly aggressive water.
One of the first things to happen was the chemical supply company needed to lower dosing levels on the washing chemicals to very low levels due to softer water now being supplied to the washing machines after the Hydrosmart was installed.
Over a period of a few months the existing scale on an old factory boiler was noticeably disappearing and has since completely gone and not returned.
Of unusual and unexpected noteworthiness to us was the way the collars and cuffs in the washed clothes are now coming up brighter and cleaner than had been the case before Hydrosmart was installed.
Given these results we are very happy to recommend the technology and the team to those with problems in need of hard water solutions.
