The latest results from our agent in Dubai on Hydrosmart's treatment of the city's treated sewerage effluent (TSE) supply:
The samples were all surface grabs so the floc levels were seriously down after just 9 hours. (It may of course have been chopped up by the pump as it went round a few times but that’s just a side note).
On this test the odour was again the first to go. This is TSE water and the smell was very algae/fishy/weedy (75% on the offensive scale). After 9hrs it was way better (10% on the offensive scale).
I wish I had taken more pictures of the test running because within the first hour of treatment the water foamed and had a 5-10mm foam layer. After 9 hours this had gone.
The other weird think is the algae has actually gone! I at least thought it would form a thin sludge or layer on the bottom but it’s actually gone.

Take a look at this boys! My faith in resolving algae is fully restored.
