The murkiness has decreased from 70 NTU to 40 NTU. The Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is down from 753mg/l to 304 mg/l. The Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is down by 2070mg/l to 1124 mg/l. While the Total Kjaldahl Nitrogen (TKN) is remarkably decreased form 438mg/l to 80 mg/l.

There are no more algae and unwanted odor and coloring. It also does not have harmful effect on the environment or the creatures living in the water. We could still use the water from the canal to water the plants and there are fishes living in it as well. The requirement for any aerator, along with it's use of electricity, the use of chemical dosing pumps, become no longer necessary - making the system even more cost-effective.
