Hi Hydrosmart,

When I first saw your information on resonance frequency technology it aligned well with our intent for my family to swim in a clean, clear and healthy pool, with the added benefits of low maintenance and minimal chemical input.

We fitted a Hydrosmart Digital 80 to our 420 kilolitre house pool, (approximately half the volume of a standard Olympic pool) during the final stages of construction. The pool was filled entirely with bore water. The sanitizing aspect was handled by installing a small salt water chlorinator (sized to suit only a 100,000 litre pool) as we hoped the Hydrosmart system would make up the shortfall.
Outstandingly we have no need for pH buffer chemicals commonly needed to stabilize the pool water and stays stable at around pH 7.6 which is near ideal recommended level. When Hydrosmart is switched off the pH is up at around pH 8.6.

We run our pool pump for 6 hours at night and run the chlorinator at the same time. We test the water regularly and we see free chlorine levels of around 2ppm in the morning and it only moves down towards 1ppm by the end of the day even though our salt water chlorinator is only 20% what should be used.

The water clarity has remained very high with no scaling or algae issues in the pool or water.
We were reminded how well the Poolmaster works when the unit stopped working, due to a power transformer failing because workmen had mistakenly soaked it, and the pools clarity and health dropped immediately into the not well zone. With the swiftly replaced transformer water clarity quickly resumed its normal healthy condition and has remained there since.
