The HYDROSMART Poolmaster uses a series of computer generated resonance frequencies to neutralize the bonding ability of any minerals or chemicals present in the water. This reduces chemical reactions preventing corrosion, stabilizing the pH balance and maintaining more free chlorine so significantly less chlorine is needed.
The HYDROSMART resonance frequencies change large crystals into tiny particles, providing you with soft water that feels better and is much clearer. Large mineral crystals are unable to build and scale formation ceases. The frequencies remain active in the water for up to 5 days and progressively remove any scale that has already formed in the pipes and equipment connected to the flow prolonging their life and reducing energy and repair bills. Along with the scale, biofilms and scum lines are removed taking with them the algae, moulds, fungi and bacteria providing a healthier environment, reducing odours and lowering cleaning and maintenance.
Reduced Chlorine Dosing
HYDROSMART resonance frequencies vastly improve the efficiency of conversion of powdered pool chlorine to available free chlorine in the pool water. This is a result of Hydrosmart’s ability to move the pH of the pool water close to neutral (pH7) The savings are between 15% and 80%, depending on the pool set up and water quality being treated ( ie mains or bore ).
Stabilized pH
Another beneficial effect of the HYDROSMART system is the stabilization of pH, thus reducing or completely eliminating the need for pH balancing chemicals altogether.

HYDROSMART resonance frequencies prevent scale and corrosion from forming and remove existing scale and biofilms from all equipment in contact with the water flow. Pumps, filters, pool heating elements, etc. work more efficiently and use less energy. With no or low reactions going on corrosion is minimized. There is an overall increase in equipment life with less maintenance and less replacement.
Enables Use Of The Backwash Water On The Garden
Due to lower chemicals and chlorides in the filtered backwash pool water you can now use the reject stream to water lawns and plants ( in some sites a second system may be required on the reject line to ensure sufficient frequencies are in the irrigation flow to enable healthy plant irrigation). Currently almost all our pool water goes down the drains around Australia, now it can go on the gardens of Australia instead of out to sea.

A Healthier Water Environment
Removing scale, bio-film and scum from equipment and tiled surfaces eliminates the growing base for algae, fungi and moulds and ultimately bacteria, resulting in significant health benefits. There is a reduction in fungal related skin problems such as dandruff and athlete's foot and swimmers won’t have the same problems of red eyes or crawling skin while their hair will be softer and unmated. All tiles and surfaces in contact with treated water stay cleaner, algae is eliminated and the water in general is healthier as there are fewer chemicals to swim in.
Clearer Softer Water
Without their bonding ability, large minerals become unstable and collapse to sub 4 micron particles and the flow assumes the properties of softened water without the use of chemicals. Large particles in the water absorb or scatter light, making the water look murky, whereas the tiny particles allow the light to pass through largely uninterrupted. Algae growing on the large particles lose their growing base and die. The water becomes clearer and the surface acquires a glassy sheen.
