The Computer units come housed in a moisture proof (IP55) enclosure - as in the picture. We also recommend and supply surge protectors. Solar powered options are available |
Components
A Hydrosmart System consists of 3 main components
The Computer Unit The specialised computer at the heart of the system which generates the highly specific series of resonance frequencies. |
The Antennae To transfer the frequencies to the flow. Systems have three antennae per set, these are wound in tight coils around the water pipe. |
The Power Supply Our standard 240V unit is included, solar and battery powered are optional as required. |
Systems
Systems for pipes up to 80mm diameter Pipes up to 80mm in diameter can be treated with a single unit and these systems are supplied as a ready to plumb in, pre-assembled loop with a "double pass" dual antennae system to maximize their effectiveness. |
Systems for 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm & 300mm pipes Pipes greater than 80mm require 2 or 3 Hydrosmart units fitted so the antennae are between 5 and 15 metres apart. These systems can be supplied as pre-assembled individual lengths to be cut-in to existing pipes or they can be wound directly onto existing pipes so that there is no disruption to the flow. |
EO Enhanced Output models are our latest addition with higher outputs for greater bond breaking ability.
High Iron levels
Iron is particularly problematic when present in the water supply and with high levels of iron or salinity we recommend the new Enhanced Output units.
Alternative Power
In a remote location the Hydrosmart unit can be powered by solar voltaic panels or by a wind generator.
